Privacy Policy
arhiva helps you save and organize bookmarks. This policy explains what information arhiva collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Information arhiva collects
When you create or use an arhiva account, arhiva may receive account information such as your email address, name, and session details needed to sign you in.
When you save a bookmark, arhiva stores the information needed to create that bookmark, including the URL, page title, description, canonical URL, page image, favicon, tags, collections, and related timestamps.
The browser extension reads information from the specific page or link you choose to save. The extension does not monitor every page you visit, record keystrokes, track mouse movement, or collect health, financial, payment, location, or personal communications data.
How arhiva uses information
arhiva uses collected information to authenticate your account, save bookmarks, sync bookmarks across the web app, desktop app, and browser extension, support search and organization features, and prevent bookmark saves from being lost when sign-in or network access is temporarily unavailable.
Browser extension storage
The arhiva extension stores an authentication token locally in Chrome storage after you sign in. It may also store a local queue of bookmark saves while sign-in, network access, or the backend service is unavailable. The queue is used only to retry the saves you requested.
Sharing and sale of data
arhiva does not sell user data. arhiva does not transfer user data for purposes unrelated to the bookmark service, and does not use or transfer user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
arhiva may process data with infrastructure providers that are necessary to operate, host, authenticate, and sync the service.
Data deletion
You can delete saved bookmarks from arhiva. You can also permanently delete your account and account data from the account menu in the app.
